Rochester Midland Corporation is searching for a Water Treatment HVAC Commercial Service Technician for their Water Energy division in the Omaha, Nebraska area. In this extremely important role, you will be the bridge between sales and service. Receive hands-on training and initial mentoring by shadowing sales reps in the field. You will be responsible for servicing commercial and industrial boilers and cooling towers, checking all chemicals and making sure components are running properly. You are a huge resource for your customers, as this type of equipment is crucial to the operations of their businesses. Feel good knowing that you are providing a much-needed service and contributing to the overall safety of your customers’ facilities. Water treatment and or Field Service background in HVAC/Mechanics is desired. Looking for skilled tradesman that can do basic P/CPVC plumbing, electrical and installation work. Must have demonstrated good organizational and communication skills. Have a valid/clean driver license and be able to get NY Pesticide applicator certificate within 90 days of employment and work effectively independently and in a team environment

Minimum Qualifications
- Applicant must have the ability to learn basic water testing.
- System trouble shooting and problem solving and chemical control.
- Controller adjustments, and the ability to carry fifty-pound pails.
- Basic pipe fitting and electrical ability a plus.

Requirements
- Handles and applies treatment products in an environmentally safe manner
- Performs water analyses for various treatment programs and evaluation of program results to determine product effectiveness and assess if product application changes/adjustments are necessary.
- Routinely troubleshoots for problem/solution identification.
- Installs and repairs all chemical feed and control equipment.
- Performs chemical cleanings and power washings of customer equipment.
- Communicates with the Service Supervisor or area Sales Representative
- Service reports on status of existing programs at each account.
- Expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
- Recommendations for improving existing treatment programs.
