Company History

General Service Bureau, founded in 1946, has been in the debt collections business for over 70 years and is a leader in accounts receivables for the healthcare industry. In 2004, General Service Bureau received the Professional Practices Management System Certification. In 2007 General Service Bureau received the BBB Integrity Award. We were the first collection agency in the history of the BBB – nationally – to be recognized. General Service Bureau, competing with collection agencies nationally has been a multi-year winner of the Best Places to Work in Collections.
