Description
The University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry is conducting a search for a full-time clinical or tenure-track faculty member in the Department of Endodontics.
Major responsibilities include:
- clinical and didactic pre- and post-doctoral teaching in contemporary endodontics;
- participation in the collegiate intramural dental service plan;
- research and/or scholarly activity; and
- service.
The position is available September 21, 2026; screening begins immediately.

Requirements
Applicants must have:
- DDS/DMD or equivalent; and
- by time of appointment, completion of an advanced education program in Endodontics.
HIGHLY Desirable qualifications:
- completion of CODA/CDAC-accredited advanced education program in Endodontics; and
- ABE Board eligibility or Board certification.
Desirable qualifications:
- M.S. and/or Ph.D. in Oral Science;
- record of publication and scholarship; and
- clinical teaching experience.
