Practice & Cases

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage psychiatric conditions for patients ages 8 and older
• Complete admission histories, psychiatric assessments, physicals, and daily follow-up care
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, behavioral health technicians, recreational therapists, and discharge planners
• Provide care in an inpatient behavioral health setting serving both adolescent and adult patients

Schedule

• Full-time schedule with 20 to 22 shifts each month
• Monday through Friday coverage with one weekend per month
• Day call shared 1:3
• Night and weekend call shared 1:4

Requirements

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner
• Active Iowa license required
• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• BLS and DEA required
